Our client is a leading Food and Beverage Systems Supplier and is currently seeking a Field Service Technician. This role offers long‐term growth opportunities and the chance to join a market‐leading business within Melbourne, Australia. This role is central to delivering high‐quality after‐sales service and technical support. You will support customers throughout the entire lifecycle of their equipment, including maintenance, troubleshooting and complex overhaul of machinery.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out scheduled preventive maintenance and respond promptly to emergency service requests to maintain optimal system performance.
* Deliver high‐quality, skilled service while ensuring explicit and effective communication with customers.
* Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair equipment both on‐site and through remote support.
* Provide technical assistance for mechanical and electrical systems.
* Conduct root cause analysis and implement effective corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
* Deliver basic operator training on equipment use and preventive maintenance best practices.
* Collaborate with internal teams (Sales, Spare Parts and Projects) by providing technical expertise and service‐related insights.
About You
* Mechanical trade qualified.
* Experience working within food, liquid or beverage manufacturing.
* Strong mechanical troubleshooting capabilities.
* Knowledge of applicable industry standards and regulatory requirements.
* High level of customer focus, professionalism, and strong work ethic.
* Valid driver's licence with willingness and ability to travel interstate.
