OverviewWorkfast is looking for a Concrete Plant Loader Operator for our client based in Osborne, SA.
You will be part of a small team that manages the safe receipt, storage and dispatch of our bulk cement products.You'll operate plant equipment including front end loader throughout the site, perform site maintenance activities and other site functions as directed by the Site Leader.
You will work effectively with various internal and external stakeholders as well as autonomously to meet the requirements of the terminal operations.
$42.81 - $46.00 per hour + Penalties + SuperannuationMonday to Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PMStable and ongoing work, 8+ hours per dayThe ideal candidate will come with robust references and possess an impeccable safety record.
Your dutiesOperate plant equipment to throughput the site and achieve quality targetsAllocate and supervise contract maintenance providersPerform preventive maintenance routines and minor maintenance activitiesShip monitoring activitiesUndertake daily stock control of receivable cement products and dispatch products and materials to meet leading deadlinesPerform basic root cause analysis of equipment failureBasic housekeeping duties
What you needExperience in terminal operationsExperience in bulk loading and unloading (desirable)Trade qualification in either electrical or mechanical field highly regardedMust be used to working under dusty conditions & confined spacesSomeone who has previous experience working in Quarries or Underground projects are highly regardedBasic computer skills, ideally SAP, Microsoft Excel, Lotus Notes, TISGood communication and interpersonal skillsMust be an Australian CitizenMust be able to pass a D&A; TestMust be able to pass a Medical check
