The Opportunity

We're looking for an experienced and passionate Digital Business Analyst to join our Digital Marketing team on an 18-month contract.

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in shaping the future of GMHBA's digital ecosystem. You'll work at the intersection of business, technology, and customer experience, helping deliver innovative digital products and services that create real value for our members.

What You'll Be Doing

As our Digital Business Analyst, you will:

• Partner with stakeholders across the organisation to define project scope, objectives, and requirements that support strategic business outcomes.
• Gather, analyse, document, and validate business and technical requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Facilitate workshops and discovery sessions to identify opportunities, improve processes, and enhance customer experiences.
• Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Developers, UX/UI Designers, and business teams to deliver high-quality digital solutions.
• Support solution design, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), system testing, and implementation activities.
• Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to optimise systems, processes, and ways of working.
• Build strong relationships across business and technical teams to ensure alignment and successful project delivery.
• Contribute to governance, reporting, risk management, and a culture of innovation, safety, and collaboration.

About You

You'll bring:

• Bachelor's Degree (IT or related discipline preferred) and/or minimum 3 years' experience in a Business Analyst role.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to translate business needs into practical digital solutions.
• Experience eliciting, documenting, and managing business and technical requirements.
• Knowledge of digital platforms, APIs, CMS platforms, mobile and web technologies, and customer experience tools.
• Experience working within Agile delivery environments, including writing user stories and participating in Agile ceremonies.
• Strong process analysis and process mapping/documentation skills.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication, and facilitation skills.

Highly Desirable

• Experience with Content Management Systems such as Optimizely.
• Understanding of user-centred design principles and collaboration with UX/UI teams.
• Business Analysis certifications or training (e.g., IIBA).
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, Miro, Figma, and related digital delivery tools.
• Experience within Financial Services and/or Private Health Insurance.
• Agile certifications such as Scrum Master, Product Owner, or SAFe Agilist.
