Responsibilities
* Offer companionship and emotional support to promote wellbeing and reduce loneliness.
* Carry out light household duties such as cleaning, laundry, and shopping.
* Monitor and record changes in clients' health or behaviour, reporting concerns promptly.
* Maintain accurate care records and ensure dignity, privacy, and safeguarding at all times.
Skills, Experiences and Qualifications
* Experience providing domestic assistance such as cleaning, laundry, meal preparation, and maintaining a safe home environment.
* Experience supporting clients with transport to appointments, shopping, and social activities, promoting independence and community engagement.
* Strong ability to accurately document services provided, record incidents, and complete reports in line with organisational and regulatory requirements.
* Cert 3 in Aged or Disability Care or equivalent is a plus.
* A valid NDIS Check, or willing to obtain one.
* Current First Aid Certificate, as this is necessary to complete personal care.
* Valid police check, or willing to obtain one.
* Willing to travel to Kingston, QLD postcode 4114.
