Remuneration: $35.34 – $35.84 per hour + 12% Super + Salary Packaging

Where you'll be working

You will be working in the Diagnostic Centre, a busy outpatient service providing specialised testing for patients with cardiology, respiratory and neurological conditions. The service supports a multidisciplinary team and provides important diagnostic services to the community.

This role works Thursday and Friday.

What You'll Be Doing

This position provides administrative support within a fast-paced outpatient environment. As the sole administrative officer in the Diagnostic Centre, you will work independently while supporting clinicians, technicians and patients.

Key responsibilities include managing patient arrivals and departures, booking appointments, answering a busy phone line, responding to enquiries, scanning and filing documents, and undertaking general administrative duties to support the service.

Demonstrated ability to plan, prioritise and organise work activities to achieve work outcomesDemonstrated attention to detail with a high level of accuracy when working with a range of computer systems and processesDemonstrated listening and questioning skills applied to a customer service environmentDemonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve quality service outcomesAbility to apply knowledge of electronic systems and computer software to achieve job outcomesAbility to be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities

The successful applicant will be supported with training and orientation across all aspects of the role within the unit.
