We are currently seeking a Repair Technician to join our Hobart branch, supporting both in-house repairs and onsite service work at customer locations.
About the Role
This is a hands-on technical role that will see you:
* Carry out testing & tagging, repairs, servicing and fault-finding on welding and associated equipment at our Hobart branch and at customers premises
* Liaise with customers in a professional and solutions-focused manner
* Maintain accurate service records and job documentation
* Enter and process invoices for completed work
* Order required parts for specific jobs
* Maintain adequate stock of parts and accessories
* Work safely and in accordance with Tasweld policies and industry standards
About You
Ideally, you will bring:
* Trade qualification as an Electrician
* Welding experience or strong exposure to welding equipment
* Mechanically minded with interest in how things work
* Experience diagnosing and repairing electrical or industrial equipment
* A current driver's licence and willingness to travel to customer sites
* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
* Good communication skills and a customer-focused attitude
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
