Our Role
As a Site Manager, you will play a vital role in overseeing and managing all aspects of a project from inception to completion. You will be responsible for ensuring the project is executed efficiently, safely, and within budget, while maintaining high standards of quality.
Your responsibilities will include but will not be limited to the following:
* Develop and implement project programs, including timelines, resource allocation, and budget management
* Lead and manage subcontractors and site personnel
* Primary point of contact for clients and other project stakeholders
* Supervise and oversee site operations
* Maintain professional and positive relationships with tradesmen, suppliers and clients
* Maintain and address OH&S and site safety compliance
* Manage project budgets and build time frames
Key Attributes and Experience
* Minimum 10+ years commercial construction experience
* A strong portfolio of education or commercial projects in the $5‑$50M range
* Trade Qualification in Carpentry or other relevant trade
* Leadership – ability to work independently and proven experience in effectively managing a team, including subcontractors, suppliers & support team
* Depth of knowledge in construction methodology and various trades (structural, civil, services, facade, framing and finishing)
* Experience in reviewing project plans and specifications, understanding of building design, value engineering and demonstrate foresight in resolution of potential construction problems
* Previous experience in Microsoft Project, Procore and HammerTech an advantage
* Excellent communication skills & ability to work well in a team environment
* Strong knowledge and awareness of OH&S
* Construction Industry White Card is essential
* Working with Children Check or willingness to undergo check
