Overview
We are looking for enthusiastic individuals that enjoy helping others achieve their goals. As tutors, we have the chance to positively impact young students and their educational journey. We recognise that every student learns differently and as such, our tutors are patient, empathetic, and nurturing individuals who adapt their teaching styles to meet the unique needs of each learner. This includes offering adaptable pacing, breaking tasks into manageable steps, and incorporating students' interests and strengths into the learning process. We also work closely with families and, when appropriate, ensure that our approach aligns with existing support strategies. We do both in-person and online lessons, with in-person lessons being significantly more popular on the Gold Coast. We pride ourselves on being supportive of our tutors and hope to find some more like-minded individuals to join our team.
Responsibilities
* Provide tutoring sessions to help students achieve their educational goals.
* Adapt teaching styles to meet the unique needs of each learner, including pacing and breaking tasks into manageable steps.
* Incorporate students' interests and strengths into the learning process.
* Work closely with families and align approaches with existing support strategies when appropriate.
* Deliver both in-person and online lessons, noting that in-person lessons are more popular on the Gold Coast.
* Support and collaborate with the team to ensure effective tutoring experiences.
Qualifications
* Paid Blue Card (must have or be willing to acquire).
* Education: High School (Year 12) – Required.
* Licence/Certification: Full Driver Licence – Required.
* Work Authorisation: Australia – Required.
* Access to own vehicle to travel to lessons.
