Are you a commercially driven sales and marketing leader who thrives on building growth, creating momentum, and turning strategy into results? Law Compliance is looking for an experienced and hands-on Head of Sales & Marketing to lead the next phase of growth for our compliance technology business. This is an opportunity to shape the commercial direction of a respected and growing organisation operating at the intersection of legal expertise, compliance, and technology. Working directly with the CEO, you'll lead our sales and marketing strategy across direct channels, partnerships, and digital initiatives — helping organisations across Australia navigate legislative compliance through our SaaS platform, Comply Online, and leading GRC solutions.

The Opportunity
This is a pivotal leadership role for someone who enjoys both strategic thinking and hands-on execution. While ideally a full-time position, we will consider part-time for the right applicant.
* You'll be responsible for:
* Driving revenue growth
* Building scalable sales and marketing systems
* Leading strategic partnerships
* Strengthening market positioning
* Developing a high-performing commercial function
You'll work closely with leadership while having genuine autonomy to influence commercial strategy, improve processes, and build capability as the business grows.
What You'll Be Doing
* Develop and execute the overall sales and marketing strategy to drive sustainable revenue growth
* Build scalable and repeatable growth systems across direct sales, partnerships, and digital channels
* Own pipeline development, forecasting, pricing, positioning, renewals, and expansion opportunities
* Identify and pursue new market opportunities, industries, and partnership channels
* Lead strategic sales opportunities from qualification through to close
* Drive disciplined pipeline management, CRM accuracy, and forecasting
* Develop strong prospecting and relationship strategies to grow the client base
* Strengthen and expand relationships with GRC and technology partners
Marketing & Demand Generation
* Develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns that increase brand awareness and generate qualified leads
* Lead content, digital, event, and partnership initiatives aligned to target industries
* Refine messaging and positioning to clearly communicate the value of our services and solutions
* Monitor campaign performance, lead conversion metrics, and commercial outcomes
Leadership & Capability Building
* Build, mentor, and lead a collaborative and high-performing sales and marketing function
* Foster a culture of accountability, ownership, and continuous improvement
* Align sales and marketing activities with operational delivery and business objectives

* Proven experience leading B2B sales and marketing functions in SaaS, technology, compliance, professional services, or related sectors
* Demonstrated success driving revenue growth, partnerships, and lead generation outcomes
* Strong commercial acumen with experience managing pipelines, forecasting, and CRM systems
* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
* Experience building trusted client and partner relationships
* The ability to simplify complex concepts into compelling client value propositions
* A collaborative leadership style with strong accountability and execution capability
Highly Regarded
* Experience in Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC), legal technology, regtech, or compliance-related industries
* Experience working within growing or scaling businesses

Location
Melbourne-based preferred, with a minimum of 2 days per week in the office.
