Job Overview

The Director of Logistics and Patient Flow plays a crucial role in coordinating and optimizing daily hospital operations. Reporting directly to the Vice-President of Clinical Logistics, this individual works closely with other members of the executive management team to support the organization's mission and strategic directions.

Responsibilities

* Coordinating and optimizing daily hospital operations
* Working closely with other members of the executive management team
* Serving as the Network's representative to various community partners
* Ensuring the functionality of hospital services through an integrated and interdisciplinary approach
* Providing a structured framework for all activities related to patient flow and logistics

Requirements

* Undergraduate degree in health, administration or management
* Master's degree (in business administration, public administration or health services management) considered an asset
* Eight to ten years of professional experience relevant to the position and/or in health services management
* Excellent knowledge of the hospital system, its administration and its legal framework
* Ability to rally and mobilize teams around a common vision in a complex, multidisciplinary environment
* Good knowledge of change management and continuous improvement within a context of organizational transformation
* Excellent problem-solving skills
* Experience in planning, coordinating and supervising hospital operations
* Proven versatility, adaptability and responsiveness
* Dynamic and innovative approach
* Ability to generate support and commitment
* Ability to make decisions under pressure and outside field of expertise
* Strong analytical and organizational skills
* Exceptional communication skills (oral and written)
* Ability to work independently and as a team member
* Physical ability to perform assigned duties
* Good previous work history (performance and attendance)
* Adherence to professional ethics principles, to the organization's management philosophy and organizational values
