About The Role
We're looking for a full-time Logistics Officer in Hobart on a fixed-term (maternity cover). If you have strong organisational skills and enjoy a hands-on, varied role, this position is perfect for you.
Responsibilities
* Process and follow up on purchase orders, liaising with suppliers as needed
* Pick, pack, and prepare stock and equipment for shipment
* Receive, unpack, count, and store inventory accurately
* Maintain stock control, conduct regular stocktakes, and manage returns
* Support fleet vehicle management, including bookings and repairs
* Contribute to process improvements and assist the team with daily operations
About You
* Desirable – Certificate in WHS/manual handling.
* Minimum 3 years' experience in warehouse/logistics roles (purchasing, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, stock control)
* Minimum 1 year experience in IT or MFD equipment industries (desirable)
* Knowledge of stores systems and purchasing procedures
* Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach
* Positive, can-do attitude and happy to help
* Comfortable using Excel and Microsoft Office
