Business Development Associate – Responsibilities
* Support retirement income sales delivery, contributing to premium, policy, and activity targets by progressing opportunities through the sales funnel.
* Own and actively manage the maturing annuity pipeline, engaging advisers ahead of maturity dates to support retention, reinvestment, and continuity of client income solutions.
* Manage and progress pipeline opportunities, including follow‐ups, SOA tracking, documentation coordination, and conversion support through to banked business.
* Partner closely with BDMs and Retirement Income Leads, preparing for adviser meetings, following up actions, and ensuring momentum is maintained post‐engagement.
* Engage directly with advisers, responding to enquiries, supporting quote activity, and assisting advisers to navigate implementation requirements.
About you – Qualifications & Experience
* Experience in sales support, adviser services, or adviser call‐centre environments within wealth management, retirement, insurance, or financial services.
* Highly organised, commercially minded, and comfortable managing multiple enquiries and opportunities while maintaining strong follow‐through and attention to detail.
* Confident communicator who enjoys engaging advisers via phone, email, and virtual meetings; disciplined approach to CRM and pipeline management.
* RG146 compliant for retirement and investment products or willing to obtain.
* Exposure to retirement income products (annuities, pensions, income strategies) and tertiary qualifications in commerce, finance, or related field highly regarded.
