Senior Risk & Compliance Manager – Investments & Wealth Management
Mercer is seeking a Senior Risk & Compliance Manager to provide trusted technical risk and compliance expertise across our financial advice and investment activities. The role involves interpreting and applying regulatory obligations, managing regulatory risk, and supporting strong customer outcomes.

Responsibilities
* Provide practical advice on investment regulatory obligations (incl. suitability, best interests, disclosure and conflicts).
* Maintain and uplift policies, standards and guidance materials, translating regulation into workable business guidance.
* Support governance reporting and provide technical input into investment-related decisions.
* Provide technical support for incidents/breaches/complaints, including assessment and remediation support.
Qualifications
* Strong understanding of financial markets, advice and investment processes.
* 7–10+ years' Risk/Compliance/Legal experience in wealth, advice or funds management.
* Relevant tertiary and/or industry qualifications (e.g., Business/Law).
* Strong analytical skills, judgement and stakeholder management capability.
Preferred Qualifications
* Deep technical expertise with a pragmatic, business-enabling approach.
* Confidence navigating complex issues and influencing senior stakeholders.
* A continuous improvement mindset and strong written communication skills.
