Salary: SCHADS SCS Level 2.4 $38.74 per hour plus 12% superannuation depending on experience

About the role
The Administration Support Officer supports Catherine House teams through responsive front- and back-office administration, with a key focus on coordinating repair and maintenance needs across all service sites.
Key responsibilities:
* Provide a welcoming, sensitive, and professional reception service that reflects Catherine House's commitment to dignity and respect.
* Offer administrative and secretariat support to teams, working groups, and committees as required.
* Support day-to-day administrative operations, including confidential record keeping, client database maintenance, and financial administration support.
* Coordinate IT and phone support requests, liaising with external providers when needed.
* Assist with banking, petty cash, and credit card reconciliation processes across worksites.
* Contribute to a safe, organised, and supportive environment through general site and administrative duties.
About the team
This role sits within a close-knit two-person administration team at Catherine House, which delivers housing and support services to women experiencing homelessness.
About you
You will bring:
* A relevant qualification in administration (Certificate IV or above desirable) and sound knowledge of administrative processes, privacy, and confidentiality.
* Demonstrated experience providing confidential administrative support, including accurate data entry, financial and payment processing, and electronic record management.
* Experience using IT systems and client databases, with strong skills in Microsoft Office and document preparation, including high-quality meeting minutes.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team and engage respectfully with a diverse range of stakeholders.
* Highly organised and adaptable, with the ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
* Understanding of, or willingness to learn about, the needs of women experiencing homelessness and a commitment to Catherine House's values.
You must agree to undergo any required employment screening, including but not limited to a National Criminal History or Police Check, Working with Children or Vulnerable Persons Check, and NDIS Worker Screening Check.
