About the Company:**
We're seeking an experienced Concrete Foreman with a hands-on background in concreting and a solid track record delivering both commercial and residential projects. The ideal candidate will have come up through the tools, bringing practical site knowledge and leadership capability to drive productivity, quality, and safety on site. This is a great opportunity for a working foreman or supervisor ready to step into a long-term role with a respected construction company.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supervise and coordinate daily operations of concreting and formwork teams on-site.
* Ensure all work is completed to the highest standards, within budget, and on schedule.
* Read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and specifications.
* Lead and mentor a team of concreters and formworkers, fostering a culture of safety and quality.
* Liaise with site supervisors, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth workflow.
* Monitor and manage the use of materials and equipment.
* Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Key Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Leading Hand or Foreman in concreting and formwork.
* Strong leadership and team management skills.
* Excellent knowledge of concreting techniques, materials, and tools.
* Ability to read and understand construction plans and specifications.
* Solid understanding of safety procedures and regulations in the construction industry.
* Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
* High attention to detail and a commitment to delivering quality work.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Relevant trade qualifications or certifications are highly desirable.
