About the Role:
The Administration Officer will provide essential support within the Australian Nursing & Midwifery Education Centre (ANMEC) team, contributing to across all programs but especially to the Aged Care/Allied Health program. This role combines student administration, course coordination, and program delivery support, making it a varied and rewarding opportunity for someone who enjoys balancing multiple priorities.
The Administration Officer will handle enrolments, maintain accurate records, prepare course materials, manage databases, and assist with student placements. You will also play a pivotal role in assisting our concierge desk providing excellent customer service and Centre wide administration.
Success in this role calls for excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to deliver high-quality customer service. Key responsibilities:
* Provide high-quality administrative support across education and training programs
* Assist with student enrolments, collating paperwork, maintaining accurate academic files, and supporting audit processes.
* Manage program records, including attendance, assessments, placements, and compliance documentation.
* Prepare and distribute course materials, timetables, attendance rolls, and session packs.
* Respond to student and stakeholder enquiries in a timely and professional manner, supporting a positive student experience.
* Liaise with educators, clinical facilitators, healthcare partners, and placement providers to ensure smooth program operations.
* Coordinate appointments, workshops, orientation sessions, and professional development activities.
* Support compliance with RTO standards, aged care requirements, funding agreements, and risk management practices.
* Maintain and update data in VETtrak and associated databases, ensuring accuracy and accessibility.
* Contribute to program audits, evaluations, and continuous improvement of systems and processes.
* Assist with acknowledgement day administration, educational expos, and promotion of courses.
* Provide frontline customer service and IT troubleshooting (e.g., Moodle, CPD access, printing).
* Play a key role in supporting students, and educators, helping ANMEC deliver high-quality programs.
About You:
We are seeking an organised, and committed professional who brings:
* Demonstrated experience in administration, ideally within a training, education, or health-related organisation.
* Practical knowledge of student management systems such as VETtrak (or similar), with confidence in database management and reporting.
* High-level computer literacy, particularly across Microsoft Office applications, with the ability to learn new systems quickly.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to provide excellent client service across diverse groups.
* Proven organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities, use initiative, and meet deadlines.
* Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry, record-keeping, and document preparation.
* A team-focused approach, balanced with the ability to work independently with limited supervision.
* A current (or ability to obtain) DHS/DCSI Working with Children Check

The Administration Officer is offered as a Full-time Permanent position, classified in the ASO2 range in accordance with the ANMF (SA Branch) Employees Agreement.
