Our Federal Government client is seeking to engage in multiple
**APS6 Case Management **positions for a 12-month assignment with potential extension in Richmond or Geelong.

The
**APS6 Case Management** is a team leadership position and will have delegated authority and responsibility to resolve issues and risks across a range of activities. The role is required to provide leadership, control, planning, resource management, performance management and decision making for the Team Membership within the work area.
The
**APS6 Case Management **is required to provide detailed technical, professional, policy, operational support and advice in relation to complex problems.
**Responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to**:
- Undertaking case management of complex AAT matters and analysing to develop options for early resolution.
- Obtaining necessary information and advice to effectively resolve AAT matters.
- Attending Case Conferences, Conciliations and Hearings conducted by the AAT.
- Preparing documents detailing resolution options and outcomes at Case Management meetings.
- Assessing and responding to priorities and risks.
- Preparing and maintaining electronic record keeping, including evidence supporting decision making processes and justifying conclusions reached during the case management process.
**Key skills required for role**
- Experience in Case Management for the National Access team.
- Previous work experience in Case management dealing with a high number of cases
- Background in Investigations/government Investigations
- Legal/Dispute Resolution/Conciliation background/ Alternative Dispute Resolution Experience
**Desirable skills to have for the role**
- Previously worked for the NDIA or other government agencies in a similar role
- Experience in claim management (work cover, ComCare or public liability), insurance (steering clear of motor claims or other first party claims managers), and personal injury experience
**Highly regarded Skills**
- Demonstrated ability to understand and interpret legislation
- High Level of communication and interpersonal skills
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Experience in dealing with highly sensitive and often complex/emotional matters
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Ability to work remotely and independently
- Ability to learn in a fast paced environment

**What's on Offer?**
- Position located in Richmond or Geelong
- APS6 $58.50/ph + super
- Temporary contract for 12 months, with possibility to extend
- Standard Hours of work - Monday to Friday, 8:30 am till 5:00 pm
