Job Title: Client Strategy Director
This role leads the strategic function for our team, aligned to a specific sales patch to sell and deliver connected, integrated, and customized business solutions and partnerships focused on driving client results.
The Client Strategy Director will collaborate with sales, digital, and product teams to generate demand and create market-leading pitches by leveraging insights, assets, and brands from across the News Corp Australia portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead a cross-functional team comprising strategy, solutions, and insights functions to create valued business partnerships and proactively identify business opportunities for clients, working with Media and Advertising.
* Work with sales, digital, and product teams to generate demand and craft market-leading pitches utilizing assets from across the NCA portfolio that meet client business objectives.
* Develop a deep understanding of clients' business drivers to provide strategic advice, data, and insights that address their needs.
* Provide strategic leadership, build relationships with internal stakeholders, and externally with clients and agencies.
About You:
* Experience in media, advertising, publishing, or marketing industries.
* Substantial experience in media strategy, planning, and execution.
* Leadership skills with an eye for talent development and team growth.
* Proven experience in client and category business planning, sales strategies, and revenue growth.
* Ability to develop end-to-end strategic commercial solutions and partnerships that drive revenue.
* Strong relationship-building skills internally and externally.
* Excellent negotiation, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills.
* Highly organized with attention to detail and numerical acumen.
* Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to craft compelling narratives.
