In this role you will lead and manage assurance audit teams, compiling audit information and review evaluations to provide for the completion of assurance and compliance audits of public sector entities (State, Local Government and Tertiary entities).
To be successful in this role you will have experience in external assurance auditing and external auditing of financial statements. You will have knowledge and experience in the interpretation and application of accounting and auditing standards. You will also have experience in managing audits and meeting deadlines, and aptitudes in leadership.
We are establishing a pool of candidates for full or part time, permanent and fixed term vacancies that arise until 30 June 2024. Fixed term appointments will have the possibility of permanency.
This process may also be used to fill other "similar" vacancies (permanent, fixed term, full-time or part time) within six months of the date of completion of the recruitment process.
