About the role
The QA Lead will oversee quality assurance operations at the Bilyara Packaging Centre providing technical guidance to QA Packaging and Warehouse teams to ensure food safety and first-time quality standards. This leadership role involves managing a team of QA Technicians and a BOM Coordinator driving continuous improvement and supporting compliance with regulatory and internal standards.
* Manage QA Technicians and BOM Coordinator ensuring training competency and performance are maintained.
* Oversee product approvals specification management and investigations to uphold food safety and regulatory standards.
* Drive a safe work culture through incident management risk assessments and adherence to HSE policies.
* Partner with internal teams and external suppliers to resolve quality issues and support continuous improvement.
* Lead improvement initiatives across packaging engineering and sustainability while supporting audits and training.
About you
* Minimum 5 years experience in food and beverage manufacturing with strong QA specification management. Beverage manufacturing is highly preferred.
* Degree-qualified in Science Engineering or a related discipline.
* Skilled in quality systems data analysis and packaging environments ideally within FMCG.
* Strong communication problem-solving and coaching capabilities.
* Proficient in Excel and database tools with solid organisational and time management skills.
