About the Role
We’re looking for two Resource Planners to join our Talent & Capability team, helping us make the best use of our people across projects and priorities. You’ll work at the centre of Nova's operations, connecting capability with opportunity and using data-driven insights to guide workforce decisions that keep projects moving and people engaged.
Reporting to the Resourcing Manager, you’ll support Nova's MSP, Integrated Solutions, and International sectors by maintaining visibility of our workforce and upcoming demand. Through analysis and collaboration, you’ll help determine the most effective resourcing approach, whether that’s redeploying internal talent, engaging our supply chain, or partnering with the Talent Acquisition team to source externally.
If you’ve worked in resource planning, workforce scheduling, or similar roles where you have analysed demand, worked with data insights to help inform decisions, and advised on the best way to meet workforce needs, this is a great chance to apply your experience in a complex, purpose-driven environment.
What You’ll Be Involved With
- Maintaining real-time visibility of resource availability and project allocations
- Matching consultants to opportunities based on capability and availability
- Developing proactive resourcing plans for bids and pipeline signals
- Coordinating assignments and communicating expectationsli>
- Promoting internal mobility and supporting career development
- Managing accurate workforce data and producing utilisation reports
- Partnering with business leaders and project managers to gather requirements
- Working closely with the Talent Acquisition and People Partnering teams
- Liaising with subcontractor management to ensure optimal resource mix
What We Would Like From You
- Experience in resource coordination, workforce planning, scheduling, or project management
- Strong data management and reporting skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with workforce planning tools
- Understanding of internal mobility and workforce optimisation principles
- Experience in consulting, Defence, engineering, or government projects
- Australian citizen with the ability to obtain an AGSVA Security Clearance
