Job Description
* Process end-to-end payroll for employees in a timely and accurate manner.
* Maintain and update payroll records, ensuring compliance with Australian legislation.
* Calculate and process superannuation, payroll tax, and other deductions.
* Manage employee queries related to payroll, providing clear and professional communication.
* Prepare and submit payroll reports to management as required.
* Coordinate with HR and finance teams to ensure seamless payroll processing.
* Ensure compliance with award rates and enterprise agreements.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Payroll Officer should have:
* Previous experience in payroll processing within the industrial or manufacturing industry.
* Strong knowledge of Australian payroll legislation, including taxation and superannuation.
* Proficiency in payroll software, with HR3 being advantageous.
* 3-5 years experience in a Payroll position is essential.
* Ability to work collaboratively with HR and accounting teams.
* Experience in a high volume volume previous is preferred.
