Job Description
Process end-to-end payroll for employees in a timely and accurate manner.
Maintain and update payroll records, ensuring compliance with Australian legislation.
Calculate and process superannuation, payroll tax, and other deductions.
Manage employee queries related to payroll, providing clear and professional communication.
Prepare and submit payroll reports to management as required.
Coordinate with HR and finance teams to ensure seamless payroll processing.
Ensure compliance with award rates and enterprise agreements.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Payroll Officer should have:
Previous experience in payroll processing within the industrial or manufacturing industry.
Strong knowledge of Australian payroll legislation, including taxation and superannuation.
Proficiency in payroll software, with HR3 being advantageous.
3-5 years experience in a Payroll position is essential.
Ability to work collaboratively with HR and accounting teams.
Experience in a high volume volume previous is preferred.
