About the role
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Head Pizza Chef to join our team a new Pizzeria in Fremantle, WA. As the Head Pizza Chef, you will be responsible for leading our pizza kitchen, ensuring the preparation and delivery of high-quality, delicious pizzas to our customers. This is a full-time role with opportunities for career growth within our expanding business.

What you'll be doing
* Oversee the daily operations of the pizza kitchen, including scheduling, quality control, and staff management
* Develop and refine pizza recipes, ensuring consistent flavours and presentation
* Collaborate with the management team to create new menu items and seasonal offerings
* Train and mentor junior pizza chefs, fostering a positive and productive kitchen environment
* Ensure adherence to food safety and hygiene standards
* Monitor inventory levels and place orders for necessary ingredients and supplies
* Contribute to the overall success and growth of our new Pizzeria brand
What we're looking for
* Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a Head Pizza Chef or Senior Pizza Chef in a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant environment
* Strong knowledge of pizza-making techniques, including dough preparation, sauce making, and topping combinations and sour dough
* Excellent time management and multitasking skills to efficiently manage the pizza kitchen
* Proven ability to train and lead a team of pizza chefs, references will be checked
* Passion for creating innovative and flavourful pizzas that exceed customer expectations.

* Commitment to maintaining high food safety and hygiene standards
* Food Safety Supervisor certification is required
* Effective communication and problem-solving skills
