Due to growth, we are currently recruiting for a Clinical Educator Specialist to join their Clinical Education team. The role will be responsible for developing, sourcing and delivering educational resources and services to the people who deliver the clinical care within the organisation through structured training and competency programs to support the clinical growth and learning of employees.
**The role**:
- Identify, develop, promote, and facilitate the delivery of Clinical Education via evidenced based, best practice (online, virtual and in-person), via presentations, toolbox talks and competency assessment tools drawing on adult learning principles.
- Facilitate and deliver engaging clinical education presentations (including clinical induction).
- Conduct Clinical Competency Assessments with recommendations, in alignment to Clinical Governance Framework and site needs.
- Design, develop and maintain documentation, including training guides, education calendar, catalogues, and resources to support the delivery of the curriculum.
- Source, evaluate and broker internal and external service providers to meet the clinical capability needs of People Care needs.
- Build and maintain collaborative partnerships with a broad range of stakeholders (internal and external) to meet clinical learning requirements.
**What we're looking for**:
- Registered Nurse (desirable)
- Qualifications in learning and assessment such as a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (favourable)
- Demonstrated experience in coordinating learning and development in a clinical setting including training needs analysis, training plans, training programs, competency assessments, inductions and mandatory training.
- Experience working in a highly regulated industry.
- Current driver's license.
- Current national Police check
- Working with children check
- NDIS check
- Computer skills in database systems and the Microsoft Office suite
- Demonstrated skills and experience in:
- Delivering results and meeting customer expectations
- Planning and organising
- Analysing and problem solving
- Persuading and influencing
- Presenting and communicating information
- Demonstrated commitment to a positive organisational culture
