At Anduril we are developing multi-domain unmanned systems that will leverage unsupervised autonomy for the delivery of integrated multi-mission capability to our customers. These projects require Integration and Test Engineers with hands-on experience to drive the delivery of hardware-focused capabilities to our customers. Anduril I&T Engineers rapidly develop expertise in new domains in order to architect, design, deliver, support, and evolve next generation capabilities through the entire product life-cycle.

What You'll Do

Work within a dynamic team of multidisciplinary engineers and specialists throughout the life of AUV design, integration, and test effortsSupport design and integration of AUV mechanical subsystems and components, ensuring proper interfaces with electronic and software systemsDevelop, build and operate physical integration environments and test fixtures to support system maturity effortsConduct root cause analysis for mechanical failures and implement corrective actionsProvide mechanical subject matter expertise to test operations for AUV platforms, including conducting pre-mission testing, vehicle tasking, and data analysisWrite, review, and execute detailed test procedures to document the step-by-step execution of internal and customer facing efforts to test and evaluate AUV subsystems, platforms and new capabilitiesSupport infield debug, repair, operation, and maintenance of AUVsMay be in the field up to 20% of the time, supporting nearshore and offshore testing

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Robotics, Mechatronics, a relevant field, or equivalent experienceA genuine interest and 4+ years of professional experience working with one or more of the above domains and system integration and testingDemonstrated ability to thrive in dynamic environments with shifting priorities, competing constraints, and rapid iteration cyclesHands-on experience with tools, fabrication techniques, and practical assembly processesExperience with mechanical troubleshooting and root cause analysis methodologiesExtremely organised and detail-orientedExcellent verbal & written communication skillsA sincere commitment to a positive, inclusive, and collaborative cultureAbility to obtain and maintain a NV2 Security Clearance

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with subsea operational procedures and equipment (including AUV launch and recovery systems), or vehicle level testing (any domain)Experience with the design, implementation and support of robotic and/or autonomous systemsExperience working within the defence, maritime and/or aerospace domainsExperience with Siemens NXExperience with manufacturing processes and DFA/DFM principlesExperience with Linux and command line interfaces, or basic electrical systems and their integration with mechanical components
