We are looking to welcome a Visual Arts Teacher to join Iona College for 2026 (with the opportunity for permanency) and is keen to inspire young minds and ignite curiosity.
About the Role
As a Visual Arts Teacher, you will:
* Plan and deliver engaging Visual Arts lessons across secondary year levels
* Create a learning environment which stimulates interest in learning and a growth mindset
* Foster engaging, encouraging and inclusive classroom experiences that support academic performance and wellbeing for all students
* Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop teaching pedagogy

You will bring enthusiasm, professionalism and a commitment to student development. This includes:
* Embracing innovative teaching approaches that ignite engagement and creativity
* Using a variety of teaching strategies recognising that students learn in various ways
* Building positive relationships with students, colleagues, parents and our Iona College community
* Participating in professional growth conversations, reflecting on your practice and growing as a professional
* Exhibiting professional conduct
* Commitment to supporting the values of Catholic education
* Queensland Teachers Registration (QCT) or eligibility to apply
