The Parliamentary Administration Act 2005 and the Parliamentary Officers (Non-Executive Staff - Victoria) Single Enterprise Agreement will be revised during 2025 and is a nexus agreement to the Victorian Public Sector Enterprise Agreement. It is anticipated that the revised salary range for Grade 5.1 - 5.2 will be $109,730 to $132,764.
**About the role**
Our Learning & Capability team is seeking an adaptable Event Manager to lead the planning and delivery of the 2025 Electorate Officer Conference at the Victorian Parliament House. This role involves managing all aspects of the event, from initial planning to post-event review, including:
- Leading and managing pre-event planning, reporting, updates, and team coordination.
- Managing contracts, event budgets and negotiating with vendors.
- Developing and managing a detailed project schedule aligned with the Project Management Framework.
- Coordinating and overseeing all aspects of the event, including logistics, accommodation, catering, decor, security, communications, and entertainment.
- Producing high-quality event documentation such as briefings, logístical details, run sheets, and evaluate event success metrics for leadership reporting.
**About You**
You are a highly organised event manager with a proven ability to coordinate end-to-end event planning using a documented, project management approach. Your attention to detail and strong communication skills ensures seamless coordination of logistics, vendors, and stakeholders.
