Candidates should have a minimum of 5 years' Chiller experience, with knowledge of maintenance procedures, troubleshooting, and installation of equipment of all brands.Assists branch leadership with coaching and mentoring of branch technicians, ensuring customer satisfaction and adherence to operational processes. Provides Level 1 technical support and assists with technical development for others. Ensures work complies with legal requirements and operates ethically.How you will do itYou will be assigned primary service accounts and responsible for executing contract maintenance visits, inspections, site assessments, service requests, and recommending necessary upgrades or repairs to prolong the equipment life cycle.You will establish and maintain positive relationships with customers, vendors, and co-workers through effective communication via phone, computer, and face-to-face interactions.You will provide quote estimates for labor and materials for repairs and upgrades, and coach other HVAC Mechanics in quoting.You will serve as the direct customer contact, responsible for servicing products and equipment on assigned projects, ensuring customer satisfaction by diagnosing and repairing equipment and systems at customer locations.You will use cutting-edge software and technology, along with hand tools, rigging equipment, and blueprints or engineering specifications, to diagnose and repair equipment.You will continually enforce safety standards and maintain security and accountability of company assets by recording use, wear, and conditions.You will work as part of a team dedicated to delivering high-quality service, which may require overtime and weekend work as needed.Participate in a four-to-six-week on-call rotation, as part of our 24/7 service operation.What we look forRequired:Universal Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Systems CFC certification is required.Experience and factory training on various water and air-cooled chillers, especially York, Carrier, Trane, and Daikin.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and working with handheld devices (smartphones, iPads).Adherence to the company's safety program.Valid driver's license.Good communication skills and ability to lead a team of 6-12 Mechanics.Availability for on-call nights and weekends on a rotating basis.Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial, industrial, and/or institutional HVAC systems, including compressor technologies, control systems, and speed drives, with leadership experience in managing small teams.#TechHiring
