Job Title: Assistant Governance Specialist
We are seeking an experienced Assistant Governance Specialist to support our executive team in ensuring the highest standards of corporate governance and compliance across our diverse portfolio of businesses.
Our company is a leading provider of innovative living environments, with over a decade of experience creating purpose-driven spaces that cater to various stages of life. Our national portfolio comprises 106 properties and 35,000 beds and units across Australia.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining statutory records, managing corporate entity compliance, and supporting the legal team to deliver exceptional governance services. Key responsibilities include:
* Overseeing company secretarial duties across multiple entities;
* Ensuring governance, compliance, and ASIC reporting excellence;
* Supporting board, investor, and JV partner communications;
* Driving process improvements in governance and documentation;
* Maintaining accurate records, registers, and filings.
Requirements and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A strong background in corporate governance, legal, or company secretarial roles;
* Exceptional knowledge of ASIC, Corporations Act, and multi-entity governance structures;
* Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and deliver pragmatic outcomes;
* Background in private corporate, investment, or property/funds environments;
* Governance Institute or AICD qualifications highly regarded.
