With a fantastic reputation, growing team and quality service, this is a fantastic opportunity for a HR/operations manager to support the management team with passion, vision and determination.
**The Role**:
The range of your role will be to foster a culture of direct engagement, provide advice and support to leadership team and employees, recruitment, employee engagement, retention, change management and provide support and advice to all IR issues in the workplace.
- Recruitment management - interviewing, hiring and onboarding new staff.
- Manage staff appraisal, staff training and personal development planning.
- Change management and workforce planning.
- Onboarding new employees including management of inductions and probationary periods.
- Drafting HR policies and ensuring compliance with employment legislation.
- Coordinate and manage all workplace accidents and incidents.
- Implement new HR processes and systems where necessary.
- Make sure that all HR and WHS policies and procedures are followed.
- Functioning as the liaison between management and staff to ensure best practice.
- Provide assistance and coaching to managers and staff regarding projects, policy and process.
- Other HR related duties as required.
- Tertiary qualification / Bachelor of Business (HR Management) equivalent
- 2 - 3 years of Human Resources experience, with exposure to strata industry preferred however not essential.
- Solid practical knowledge of modern awards, relevant employment legislation (e.g. Fair work, Discrimination Act, WHS act). Knowledge of legislation across Australia is a preferred, but not essential.
- Experience in the implementation of new HR processes, structure and systems
- Performance Management skills to improve individual and team outputs.
- Demonstrates strong leadership experience with the ability to influence a broad range of people at all levels.
