This is a senior leadership role with full P&L responsibility, requiring a commercially astute leader who can drive sustainable financial performance, operational excellence, and team capability.You will have end-to-end accountability for safety, people, customers, and profitability across the state.Key ResponsibilitiesFull P&L ownership for the South Australian business, including revenue, margin, cost control, and EBIT deliveryDevelop and execute state business plans aligned to national strategyDrive operational efficiency across collection, processing, and disposal activitiesLead, coach, and develop a multi-disciplinary leadership teamEnsure compliance with environmental, safety, and regulatory requirementsBuild and maintain strong relationships with key customers, councils, contractors, and regulatorsIdentify and execute growth opportunities, including new contracts, renewals, and service expansionProvide accurate forecasting, reporting, and performance analysis to senior leadershipAbout YouTo be successful in this role, you will bring:Proven experience as a State Manager, Regional Manager, or Senior Operations ManagerDemonstrated success managing a complex P&L in a capital-intensive, operational environmentBackground in waste management, resource recovery, recycling, logistics, utilities, or heavy industryStrong commercial acumen with the ability to translate strategy into tangible resultsExperience leading large, decentralised teams in safety-critical environmentsExcellent stakeholder management and communication skillsA hands-on, accountable leadership style with a strong focus on performance and outcomesWhy Join Us?
