Who We Are
Dysart State High School is located in the Central Highlands of Queensland, part of the Bowen Basin. Established in 1982, Dysart State High School plays a key role as the centre of our community - ensuring that the young people of Dysart and surrounds have access to every available educational opportunity. Currently the school has a student population of approximately 200 students from Year 7 to 12. We have an extensive range of school facilities that include upgraded Science facilities and Trade Training Centre - focussing on Industrial Design and Technology and Hospitality. We have collaborative relationships with a range of businesses from local to global companies supporting our school and providing a range of learning opportunities, apprenticeships and traineeships. * Experience in leading teaching and learning, particularly in relation to implementation of version 9.0 Australian Curriculum and QCAA senior schooling programs
* Experience in OneSchool timetable development, as well as supervision management
* Commitment to nurturing positive relationships between students, teachers, the community and stakeholders
* Commitment to building a positive culture of learning based on quality relationships and curriculum delivery
* Demonstrated capacity to work effectively and positively as part of a team
