Randstad has partnered with BAE Systems to recruit highly skilled FIFO Welders for a major defence shipbuilding project in Adelaide, South Australia.
Rare opportunity to work in a major capital city while engaged in FIFO. 3 weeks on, 1 week off roster. Adelaide site – work Monday to Friday and enjoy your weekends off. Fly from any capital in Australia.
Onboarding and training will take place Week 1 on Day Shift. These hours will be paid at Day Shift Rate.

Duties
* Working as part of a fabrication team
* Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and working to specifications
* Adhering to strong safety procedures and requirements
Skills & Experience
* Ability to read drawings
* Fabrication experience with MIG or Flux Core Welding
* Strong commitment to a safe work environment
Shift Pattern
Week 1
* Monday – Thursday 4:00 pm – 12:30 am
* Friday 1:30 pm – 9:30 pm or 3:30 pm – 7:30 pm
Week 2
* Monday – Thursday 4:00 pm – 12:30 am
* Friday 4:00 pm – 12:00 am
Week 3
* Monday – Thursday 4:00 pm – 12:30 am
* Friday 1:30 pm – 9:30 pm or 3:30 pm – 7:30 pm
Applicants must have the right to work in Australia and be eligible to obtain and maintain the required clearances including NSSIC and ITAR. A Naval Shipbuilding and Sustainment Identity Card (NSSIC) is required for this role.
