About the Role

This senior leadership position plays a vital role in the management team, providing effective leadership and direction to administrative staff. The Administrative Services Director is responsible for overseeing operational aspects of front office, reception, switchboard, and admissions area.


Key Responsibilities

* Manage the efficient operation of the front office, ensuring seamless communication and service delivery.
* Lead and develop administrative staff, promoting excellence and high standards of customer service.
* Implement document control measures to maintain accurate and up-to-date records.


Requirements

* Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and develop others.
* Previous experience in a hospital environment, preferably in a management or supervisory capacity.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions.


Desirable Skills

* Experience working with Patient Administration Software (preferably Meditech).
* Knowledge of health fund contracting systems.
* Familiarity with quality improvement processes and patient safety protocols.
