Job Overview We are seeking a mid-level Onsite Desktop Network Support Engineer to join our team in Brisbane, Gold Coast, or South Brisbane. This role involves direct engagement with clients and requires problem-solving skills to support IT infrastructure and networks. The position is available on a contract, part-time, or freelance basis and is ideal for professionals skilled in desktop and network support environments. Qualifications and Skills Proficient in imaging and reimaging systems to ensure seamless operations and minimal downtime for users. Experience in providing end-user support, addressing customer issues promptly and effectively to enhance user satisfaction. Hands-on experience with Active Directory, managing user accounts, and ensuring security across network domains. Strong understanding of Office 365 applications to assist users and manage enterprise-wide deployments and updates. Skilled in SCCM for software deployment, managing system updates, and automating routine IT tasks. Adept at network troubleshooting, identifying network issues, and implementing solutions to maintain network integrity. Experience with Remote Desktop Services to provide effective remote support and resolve user queries efficiently. Proven Windows Administration expertise, ensuring system security and optimizing performance for enterprise environments. Roles and Responsibilities Provide onsite support for desktop and network issues, ensuring IT infrastructure functionality meets client standards. Act as the first point of contact for IT concerns, offering expert advice and troubleshooting to resolve technical issues. Coordinate with various teams to ensure the proper implementation and management of network and desktop solutions. Perform routine system monitoring, identifying any security vulnerabilities and deploying necessary updates and patches. Maintain detailed documentation of support activities, solutions provided, and system configurations for continuity. Implement and configure new network hardware to meet growing business needs and improve IT operational efficiency. Ensure compliance with IT policies, procedures, and standards, working to improve processes and user satisfaction.
