BFX are market leaders in the manufacture and supply of classroom furniture to schools, developing active partnerships with education leaders to enable us to design, specify, and supply learning spaces that ensure maximum student and teacher engagement and wellbeing.
Due to ongoing business growth, an opportunity exists for a junior/trainee sales consultant in Brisbane to be mentored and taught by the existing team on how to successfully manage a sales territory and execute a sales business plan.
Our customers come from both state and private schools and the stakeholders you'll be working with will include school principals, deputy principals, department heads, business and office managers.
Ideal candidates will have experience in retail or branch sales, inside sales, telephone sales or a customer service background with a sales focus and are looking to take that next step into a more structured sales environment. Depending on progress of the individual, it's expected that the successful candidate will be given their own territory to manage within 6 - 9 months of commencing, along with an increase in base pay and access to the sales incentive plan.
While in the trainee role, you will be rewarded with a competitive remuneration package, comprising of a base salary (65-75k), car allowance (15 k), super, tools of trade, 17% leave loading and commission on any sales that you are personally responsible for. The successful candidate will be expected to transition out of the trainee role early in the new financial year and to be allocated a territory to manage, with base increasing to 85 k along with access to commission and bonus scheme.
This is a hybrid role and BFX's supportive and trusting culture will enable you to work from your home office when not out on the road visiting prospects and customers.
