About The Role

Working alongside Wagners Composite Fibre Technologies (CFT) National Key Account Manager and the greater Australian/New Zealand team you will drive sales for key infrastructure projects. This position will be based at either our Toowoomba Head Office or our Rocklea site in Brisbane, with funded travel to key target areas in Queensland. Wagners CFT are world leaders in the manufacturing of fibre reinforced polymer solutions for engineering projects, including collaborations with Gold Coast City Council and Morten Bay Council.

Main Responsibilities

* Maintain working relationships with existing clients, ensuring they receive exceptional customer service and identify potential sales opportunities
* Identify prospective opportunities and new customers, set appointments, make effective qualifying sales calls and manage sales cycles to close new business
* Share in-depth product knowledge and be able to conduct demos and handle hard questions/objections about our products/services
* Prepare concise and accurate reports, proposals, booking packages and other required documentation for executive-level presentations
* Achieve sales goals by assessing current client needs and following a defined selling process with potential buyers, often including service/product presentations
* Coordinate with other sales representatives to ensure budgets are being met and company standards are being upheld

About You

To be successful in this role you need to:

* Demonstrated success in sales or business development or transferable skills that would set you up to be successful in this role
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation and organisational skills
* Proficient with sales management software and CRM systems (HubSpot or similar)
* Strong ability to balance persuasion with professionalism
* Knowledge of local, state and federal government procurement / project delivery, or the ability to acquire quickly
* Must have a C-class driver licence
