Job Description
A Contracts Specialist is responsible for delivering contract packages and contracting strategies that achieve optimal outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist with managing contracts, focusing on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and contractor performance measurement, analysis, and improvement
* Undertake end-to-end strategic sourcing aligned with business requirements
* Apply commercial judgment when interpreting contractual terms and conditions
* Provide comprehensive contract lifecycle support, encompassing all contractual and commercial activities, and develop well-defined sourcing strategies
Requirements and Qualifications
* Significant experience in contracts or category management within mining, construction, or comparable industries
* Ability to build and maintain constructive relationships with internal and external stakeholders
* Tertiary qualifications in Construction Management, Economics, Quantity Surveying, Legal (Construction Law), or related disciplines
