 
        
        Part-time Finance Officer/Office AdministratorWe are a warm and inclusive Children's Centre comprising community-based childcare & Department for Education Preschool, committed to providing high-quality early childhood education and care. 
We are currently seeking an experienced Finance Officer/Administrator to join our dedicated team on a part-time basis, three days per week. 
This role will be in line with Clerks-Private Sector Award 2020 Level 5.The successful candidate will be responsible for administrative leadership with key financial responsibilities. 
They will have the ability to manage their time effectively between bookkeeping, administration duties & responding to parent enquiries.There will be a supportive induction & training process to enable you to learn our systems and procedures.Key Responsibilities:Manage day-to-day financial operations using MYOB and Microsoft ExcelAdminister and reconcile Child Care Subsidy (CCS) payments and reportingAnswering & directing telephone callsProcess child care and preschool enrolments using approved systemsProcess accounts payable and receivable, and bank reconciliationsProcessing superannuation & payroll taxPreparation of quarterly BASLodgement of monthly superannuationMaintain accurate financial records and assist with budget preparationPreparing financial reports and reporting these at monthly Management Committee meetingsProvide administrative support to the Director and Management CommitteeEnsure compliance with relevant financial and regulatory requirementsMaintain HR records, certifications & training documentationDemonstrated experience in financial administration, preferably in a child care or not-for-profit settingMinimum of 3-5 years of financial administration experience requiredProficiency in MYOB and Microsoft ExcelGeneral bookkeeping level proficiency in MYOB requiredStrong organisational and communication skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamCurrent Working with Children Check (WWCC)Australian work authorisation required for this positionSound understanding of the Child Care Subsidy (CCS) systemExperience using the ATO portalDesirable Qualifications:Certificate or Diploma in Bookkeeping, Frontline Office Management, or related fieldApplication Process:Please submit a detailed application via SEEK outlining your relevant experience and qualifications.
