About our Disability Support role:
Life Without Barriers is a leading social purpose organisation that supports people with disability, older people, and families. We are seeking support workers to join our team in Toowoomba.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide active support to individuals with disabilities across Supported Independent Living (SIL).
• Follow person-centred support and positive behaviour support plans.
• Facilitate client goal achievement through meaningful activities.
• Maintain thorough record keeping.
• Build positive relationships with clients, families, and colleagues.
Requirements:
• Certificate III Individual Support qualification.
• Ability to work within a positive behaviour support framework and approved restrictive practices.
• Complex health care support including medication administration.
• Unrestricted Australian driver's license.
• Current First Aid and CPR Certificate.
