About the Role:

The successful applicant will provide a safe and supportive environment for students, supervising them during meals, recreation time, and overnight periods.

They will be responsible for maintaining regular communication with colleagues, parents, and other stakeholders to ensure student development and wellbeing.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable working at night alone, taking initiative, being adaptable, helpful, proactive, and approachable.

Key Responsibilities:
">
* Maintain a safe and supportive environment for students
* Supervise students during meals, recreation time, and overnight
* Provide pastoral care and support to students
* Communicate effectively with colleagues, parents, and other stakeholders
* Attend college functions and promotion activities as required
">
Requirements:
">
* Australian or New Zealand citizenship, permanent resident, or valid visa with relevant work rights
* National Criminal History Check with the Department's Screening Unit
* Current Working with Children Check if required
* Ability to work according to rostered hours including nights, weekends, and public holidays
* First Aid Certificate – Provide CPR (HLTAID009) and First Aid Certificate – Provide First Aid (HLTAID011)
* LR Class Driver's Licence and Passenger Transport Driver (PTD) authorisation
* Certificate IV in Community Services – Student Residential Care (CHC42021)
