About the role
Working within a complex and highly regulated Defence environment, and reporting to senior program leadership, you will manage and deliver P‐8A Poseidon Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) activities in support of AIR7000 and CAF35 programs.
Responsibilities
* Managing SRSPO P‐8A ILS functions and deliverables in support of AIR7000 and CAF35 activities, including leadership and management of subordinate teams
* Engaging with Defence and industry stakeholders to understand, plan and coordinate ILS support outcomes
* Overseeing, managing and reporting on ILS support functions and performance delivered by industry and Cooperative Program partners
* Developing, implementing and maintaining ILS processes, plans and supporting documentation
* Providing specialist ILS advice and contributing to broader P‐8 Maritime Patrol Aircraft Unit (P8MU) planning and activities
* Mentoring and guiding less experienced ILS personnel to develop capability within the team
Qualifications
* Extensive experience in Integrated Logistics Support within Defence acquisition and/or sustainment environments
* Strong understanding of Defence logistics frameworks, processes and governance
* Demonstrated experience engaging with Defence, industry and international stakeholders
* Excellent interpersonal, leadership and communication skills
* CASG experience is preferred but not essential
* Experience supporting or working within AIR7000 / P‐8 Poseidon programs is highly regarded
* NV1 security clearance and ability to obtain and maintain an appropriate Defence security clearance, including compliance with International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR)
