About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Occupational Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will bring expertise, maturity, and strong time management skills to the role.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
* Managing an allocated caseload and delivering timely therapeutic services with assistance from an OTA
* Assessing participants' emotional, psychological, cognitive, developmental, and physical function and capacity through clinical observations and standardised assessments
* Interpreting findings to formulate treatment goals unique to each participant
* Providing evidence-based therapeutic interventions to enhance quality of life
* Mentoring and supervising early career clinicians
* Maintaining awareness of current legislation to ensure compliance
About You:
To succeed in this role, you will require:
* Current registration with AHPRA as an Occupational Therapist
* Excellent time management and organisational skills
* A proactive attitude and interest in continually developing your skills
* Experience in mentoring and supervising other Occupational Therapists
* A genuine passion for working in the disability sector
