Housekeeping Manager

We are looking for a highly experienced Housekeeping Manager for a 1 year maternity leave contract to lead our team and deliver on our commitment to excellence. As the Housekeeping Manager, you will oversee the housekeeping department, ensuring the seamless operation of rooms and public areas while maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and service. Your role:

* Oversee and direct the delivery of housekeeping services, ensuring the highest quality in rooms and public areas.
* Lead and motivate the housekeeping team, setting high standards of service and productivity.
* Manage department budgets, including stock movement, purchasing, and cost control, while ensuring the department operates efficiently.
* Drive staff training and performance to elevate service standards and promote compliance with occupational health and safety regulations.
* Monitor guest feedback and implement corrective actions to continuously improve service quality and satisfaction.
* Participate in team briefings and management meetings to contribute to the overall success of the hotel.

Assistant Night Manager

As the Assistant Night Manager your tasks and responsibilities will include, but not be limited to;

* Assisting with check-in and check-out of guests, ensuring all procedures are adhered to
* Fostering strong communication between the Night team and day team
* Be proactive and resourceful when attending to guest requests
* Take initiative to ensure that interactions with our guests are positive and productive
* Actively resolve guest complaints and challenges to high levels of satisfaction
* Provide guidance, supporting training and leading the team
* Take responsibility for the night audit function alongside the Night Manager, ensuring that all auditing income and revenue reporting are collated to a high level of accuracy
* Be responsible for the health and safety of all guests and staff members
* Working the night shift 11pm-7am
* Assistant Night Manager role can be part time or full time

Qualifications and requirements

* Strong communication skills.
* High level of computer literacy – Excel and Opera experience
* Excellent attention to detail.
* RSA and First Aid qualifications or be willing to obtain.

Room Attendant

As a Room Attendant, you play a vital role in our Housekeeping department and dazzle our guests by keeping our rooms super clean and paying attention to every tiny detail. Your responsibilities extend beyond the physical tasks and include collaborating harmoniously within the team and helping guests whenever needed. Your dedication ensures that every guest has a wonderful stay, leaving with cherished memories of great hospitality.

Your key responsibilities:

* Clean guest rooms - bedrooms, bathrooms, vacuuming & dusting to the hotels standards.
* Ensure all rooms are fully stocked with guest amenities
* Ensure towels/linen are replaced correctly
* Report maintenance issues
* Report any lost property following hotel procedures
* Ensure all electronics are in working order
* Use appropriate chemicals for cleaning purposes ensuring safe work practices are maintained
* Ensure all WH&S policies and procedures are followed
* This is a part time position

You must be in Australia and have permanent work rights, no sponsorship available
