As an Associate Director, you will join the Business and Private Banking Finance team that's focused on keeping it simple.
In this Associate Director role, you will
Track B&PB expense position and delivery of productivity initiatives, as well as supporting deliverables from Group Finance.
Work with Finance Partners and using data to Identify, analyse and interpret issues, trends and opportunities to present logical conclusions and insights for decision making.
Manage financial planning and analysis process, and understand, analyse and effectively communicate the key drivers of business performance.
Support change initiatives by managing all financial impacts including validating / restatement of numbers, mapping of ledger and insight and taking actions to reduce key data gaps as required.
Review internal period on period analysis for consolidation of B&PB's half year and full year results.
Analyse and investigate financial results and understand drivers of variances to expectations.
Support half year and year end reporting periods by acting as key process support for external disclosures.
What You Will Bring
A strategic and open mindset with the ability to form hypotheses around different strategic choices that could be made across Business and Private Banking to improve performance.
Data and business intelligence, including advanced Excel skills and ideally some exposure to PowerBI.
Strong understanding of banking economics, business drivers and performance levers.
Years of professional experience in finance/accounting, financial services, corporate reporting, risk reporting or data analytics.
Tertiary qualified (Commerce/Business/Economics, Science, Engineering) along with CA/CPA qualifications.
