Seva Construction is a real estate development firm specializing in hotel developments in Ohio & Kentucky. Our team is looking to bring on an On-Site Superintendent to lead the development of Fairfield Inn by Marriott in Sidney, Ohio (40 miles North of Dayton). This hotel project consists of approximately 50,250 sqft slab on grade wood-frame envelope.
ABOUT YOU :
We are seeking a deadline-driven construction superintendent to oversee our construction project and serve as the liaison between various project parties. The ideal candidate is a strong leader, an excellent communicator, a team player, and performs well under pressure.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING :
Manage the project from start to closeout.
Oversee daily operations at the project site.
Assist in developing and maintaining project schedules.
Keep updated records of progress through daily field status reports.
Build positive relationships with team members, subcontractors, owners, and city officials.
Prioritize tasks and identify potential problems related to project organization.
Coordinate with the Project Manager and support team to complete all project aspects.
Perform quality control reviews of materials and work performed.
Inspect completed work and implement corrective actions as needed.
Coordinate inspections with authorities for approvals.
Manage materials and equipment delivery with vendors and suppliers.
Collaborate with the safety team to maintain a safe working environment.
Assist with any additional duties as required.
Salary :
$90,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year plus bonus potential. Salary is commensurate with industry experience.

WHAT YOU NEED :
At least 4 years of experience leading ground-up construction projects, preferably in Hotels, Multi-Family, or ICF.
Strong knowledge of construction safety and a commitment to safety values.
Understanding of trade relationships and responsibilities.
Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
Proficiency with Microsoft Project, Excel, Word, BlueBeam, and Email.
Familiarity with Raken software.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Strong organizational and evaluative skills.
Ability to operate a Gradall Forklift.
Physical capability to lift and carry items weighing up to 90 pounds, climb ladders, work in various weather conditions, and perform physical tasks as required.
