About Belmont Hospital and Theatre 
Belmont Hospital's Operating Suite comprises four operating theatres with a Monday to Friday schedule. Shifts are staggered between 0700 and 1930; overtime is occasional and on-call Monday to Thursday in line with the NSW Nurses State Award, with an opt-in arrangement for non-working days. We pride ourselves on a collaborative, professional team culture focused on patient-centered care. 
About the Role 
This role involves working as both an Instrument and Circulating Nurse across a range of surgical specialties. You'll be responsible for the preparation and maintenance of surgical setups, stock rotation, and the upkeep of surgeons' preference cards. A typical week includes active participation in surgical procedures, maintaining high standards of infection control and safety, and contributing to smooth daily theatre operations. 
Qualifications and Experience 
Minimum of 12 months recent experience as an Instrument and Circulating Nurse 
The ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a rapid-paced team 
Strong communication skills, including the ability to liaise effectively with medical and senior staff 
A positive, adaptable attitude and a commitment to best practice
