Job Description
* Processing weekly payroll for employees.
* Managing superannuation and tax deductions.
* Handling payroll queries in a timely and professional manner.
* Maintaining accurate payroll records and employee data.
* Preparing and distributing payslips, tax forms, and other payroll-related documents.
* Performing year-end processing tasks.
* Adhering to privacy standards and confidentiality principles.
* Staying current with changes in payroll legislation.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Payroll Officer should have:
* A solid understanding of payroll processes.
* Experience in a similar role within the transport & distribution industry is advantageous.
* A strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
* Excellent numerical skills and proficiency with payroll software.
* Good communication skills for handling payroll queries.
