We are seeking a passionate and dedicated individual to join our Pulse Student Engagement team as the Student Experience Coordinator for Clubs and Societies. This role is integral to our mission of enriching the student experience and fostering a vibrant, inclusive campus community. The coordinator will play a pivotal role in supporting and developing clubs and societies, providing them with the necessary resources and guidance to thrive.

Responsibilities
* Engage and support clubs and societies, offering guidance and resources for their growth and development.
* Provide funding and administrative support, ensuring efficient management of club finances and operations.
* Serve as the primary point of contact for clubs, offering timely assistance and resolving any issues or queries.
* Organize and facilitate training sessions and workshops to enhance the skills and knowledge of club members.
* Collaborate with other departments to create opportunities for student involvement and engagement.
* Promote and market club activities and events to increase student participation and awareness.
* Conduct regular check-ins and meetings with club leaders to assess progress and provide feedback.
* Ensure compliance with university policies and guidelines, maintaining a safe and inclusive environment.
* Develop and implement strategies to attract and retain students in the Clubs and Societies program.
* Foster a positive and supportive culture within the program, encouraging collaboration and community building.
Qualifications
* A bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as student affairs, education, or a related discipline is highly regarded.
* Experience in student engagement, club management, or a similar role is preferred.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and collaborate effectively.
* Excellent organizational and time management abilities, with a track record of managing multiple tasks.
* Proficiency in using various software and tools for administration, communication, and event planning.
* A passion for student development and a commitment to creating an inclusive and engaging campus environment.
* Ability to work independently and take initiative, with a problem-solving mindset.
* Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and a willingness to learn and grow in the role.
* Knowledge of the tertiary education sector and specifically the non-academic, student experience aspect of the
sector.
* A positive and enthusiastic attitude, with a genuine interest in supporting student initiatives.
