The Supervisor/Manager role offers a fantastic opportunity for an experienced professional to take on a leadership position within our rapidly growing team.
We are seeking a highly motivated and self-driven individual with at least 10 years of building background experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of public housing projects, managing contractor performance, and ensuring compliance with work health and safety policies.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a calm and friendly demeanor, and strong attention to detail. They will also have a valid NSW driving license, white card, and police check. In addition, they should have good computer skills and a background in carpentry or building trade.
This is a full-time position that requires a reliable commute or relocation to Newcastle, NSW. We offer a competitive salary range of $85,000 - $100,000 per year and a company car as part of our benefits package.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
* Managing and delivering public housing projects in a timely manner
* Overseeing and managing contractor's performance on site
* Quotations/estimating
* Maintenance Software: using software to track all maintenance and aggregate documents/reports
* Work health & safety: comply and promote WH&S policies
* Customer satisfaction: building rapport with property residents and liaising with internal stakeholders
